“ The first time my friends and I visited Rocker's Roadhouse was during the Chowder Fest 2025 in Bodega Bay. We were so impressed with their chowder that we decided to do a reservation next day for brunch as a party of 9. The location is perfect. It's located off the main road and has plenty of parking behind the building. Upon walking into the restaurant, you're greeted with the old framework of the building along with a woodburning fireplace that heats up the bar area well. I adore the wooden interior that gives ode to the historical building. We were fortunate to be seated in the back patio because we had a senior puppy with us and the hostess was more than happy to accommodate us along with a doggy bowl. The patio is spacious and there's a large area for tables to be placed together for large parties under the sun or even under the awning. Either or, they both have outdoor heaters that made it comfortable for our dinning experience. We ordered the beignets that tasted delicious. They were cooked perfectly and sprinkled with powdered sugar. The size was perfect for our large group that wanted to try them. We ordered 3x 6 raw oysters on the sell and they were amazing. So fresh, perfect size and taste. It was a hit at the table. The hot casino clam dip and deviled eggs were okay. I ordered the chicken and waffle and found my chicken to be a bit dry. My husband ordered the steak and eggs and ate it all up. It was a great brunch. Would love to visit again. ”
“ Been here twice, once for weekend HH, oysters and music out back, excellent! Second was HH to try their chowder. Wow! Rich, creamy, delicious. Love the vibe and the staff. Special place. ”
“ Truly enjoyed our lunch at Rocker Oysterfeller's! This is a must visit spot if headed through town on highway one...actually, we drove 45 min just to try RO and will do it again! So, why 4 stars? The oysters we had were minuscule, we were there 30 min before their 1/2 off oyster happy hour, so felt like we got the last of the pick. The seasonal salad was excellent, but very light on cheese and nuts...mostly great greens and dressing. Again, still liked them both. The winners were the entrees. Shrimp tacos were seasoned beautifully. The wife's chicken and pasta dish was perfect. The Creole flavors came through on everything. Looking forward to our next meal at RO! ”
“ Every thing shown was so good ! From the service, drinks.and food everything was 5/5! The shrimp and grits were so good omg . Fish was battered perfectly. Will def be back ! ”
“ I am a lifetime Californian, but I had never been to Valley Ford until my wife and I stayed here over the weekend. We stayed at the Inn just above the restaurant, so we stopped here for dinner. It was lovely. The vibe is simple and sophisticated, with every detail, from the art to the settings, clearly chosen with purpose. The service was excellent, and our server, Ashley (?), was friendly and attentive. The food was excellent and worth the price. We had the shrimp salad, clam chowder, and pasta with blackened chicken, and we were highly satisfied! We will be back. ”
“ Food was delicious! Bartender was great. He made the best lemon drop I ever had and pretty great house margaritas. Food was delicious and service was great. We hit happy hour here during the week so it was busy but not crazy. Will definitely be back next trip to the coast and hopefully catch the live music next time. We had the dirty south fries and clam chowder to start followed by the wild gulf shrimp and sticky praline bread pudding for dessert. Everything we had was excellent! ”
“ This was our second visit to this location and we all loved it. Previously my wife and I had come, this time we brought the kids with us. We all had an awesome meal and the kids can't wait to try it again. I didn't take much in the way of photos. We were hungry and got right to eating. The smash burgers my wife and daughter got were terrific. They were awfully big and both of them ended up removing a patty. Which didn't hurt my feelings as I ate one of the Pattie's. They were very flavorful and fresh. My youngest got chicken and waffles. The was thrilled with how great the fried chicken was. The waffles were also great. So it was a hit for her and made me regret not getting them too! I got the biscuits and gravy with eggs. The potatoes were excellent! The biscuits and gravy was good, but I wish it had a little more flavor to it. But that's my bad, as it's not a sausage gravy which I'm used to. I should have added a side of bacon or something. But I ended up eating a burger patty with it, so it all worked out. The bbq oysters were great! We ordered the ones with garlic, butter and hot sauce. Lovely flavor to them and I definitely could have ate more. Service was great and they were very attentive. We'll definitely be back again! ”
“ The bartender helped with my to-go order and she gave phenomenal service both on the phone while picking up my order and in person. The fish tacos were so good!! The ambiance and service that I received were stellar and I can't wait to go back for dine-in service. Charming spot! ”
“ This is basically a mandatory stop on the way to Bodega Bay! Located in a charming small town with a rich history, it offers ample indoor and outdoor seating with a cozy, homey ambiance. I've sampled every oyster, both BBQ'd and raw, and they are all delicious (plus, they're half-price on Mondays). I've tried the bacon-wrapped gulf shrimp over pimento cheese grits, cajun fried brussels sprouts, smash burger, beer-battered rock cod tacos, and their clam chowder--one of the best I've ever had, even better than those in Bodega Bay. Their happy hour runs Tuesday through Friday from 3 to 5:30 PM and features a few drink specials, fish tacos, and bar snacks. Their main menu has plenty of options for everyone. For drinks, I always opt for the Pimm's Cup cocktail (so refreshing) and an oyster shooter, which comes with a raw oyster on the side of a vodka shot mixed with what I believe is a Bloody Mary mix. While the service can be a bit slow, it's well worth the wait. Everything I've had so far has been fantastic, and I'm excited to keep tasting new menu items. ”
“ Food- Great food, probably top 2 of the best we had in the area. We did a half dozen oysters, fried Brussels, etouffee, and bread pudding. Oysters were solid and the mignonette was great. Hot sauce wasn't automatically given but is available. the etouffee was the best bite of the night; great sauce and realistic portions too. The cocktails were okay, not bad not mind-blowing. Service- Great service. They were attentive but didn't hover which is always great. We were the only ones outside so they made sure we stayed warm via heatlamp. I will warn you, you will probably get talked into dessert but I didn't regret it. Ambiance- I can only speak for outside but it feels like a classic vacation restaurant vibe where you want to eat someplace nice but you also didn't pack anything fancy. This is a great break away from the abundance of deep-fried fish places in the area where you can still get seafood. Dog Friendly - Outside only. There is a dedicated patio entrance and most of the servers asked to pet the dog. ”
